Our Full-Service Groom ($100/hr) is an all-inclusive, one-on-one spa session designed to keep your dog healthy, comfortable, and looking their best. Every full groom includes:

  • A soothing warm-water spa experience with premium hypoallergenic, coat-nourishing shampoos and conditioners

  • Complete blow-dry and thorough breed-specific brush-out

  • Undercoat de-shedding treatment and/or full custom precision haircut

  • Gentle nail trimming and smooth Dremel nail filing

  • Canine teeth brushing and breath freshening

  • Ear cleansing and gentle ear hair plucking (if needed)

  • Luxury coat finishing spray/cologne and a signature Pawsitively KC bandana

How does mobile dog grooming work, and what do I need to provide?

Pawsitively KC is a 100% self-contained luxury mobile pet salon. Our state-of-the-art spa unit is fully equipped with its own clean water supply, commercial warm bath, independent electric generator, and hospital-grade climate control (heating and A/C). You do not need to provide electrical cords, water hoses, or plumbing hookups. All we require is safe, relatively flat curbside or driveway parking outside your home. We bring the complete luxury spa experience directly to your doorstep while you work or relax.

Why is there a $25 Mobile Availability Fee, and can neighbors waive it?

Yes! Pawsitively KC offers a specialized Curly-Coated Full-Service Groom ($115/hr) customized for Goldendoodles, Bernedoodles, Labradoodles, Aussiedoodles, and standard/miniature Poodles. Curly and fleece coats require advanced hand-scissoring technique, matting prevention, and tailored moisture conditioning. What is the Pre-Groom Dog Walk, and how does it help anxious pets?.

For nervous, timid, or high-energy dogs, we offer an optional 15-minute Pre-Groom Calming Walk ($20 add-on) directly before their appointment starts. This gentle outdoor walk gives your dog a chance to relieve bladder pressure, release pent-up energy, and build trust and positive rapport with Kasey before stepping into the mobile salon. It significantly reduces grooming table jitters and creates a relaxing spa experience.

How long does a mobile dog grooming appointment take?What is the Pre-Groom Dog Walk, and how does it help anxious pets?.

A typical mobile grooming appointment takes 60 to 90 minutes (up to 120 minutes for large, heavy-coated, or matted breeds). Unlike traditional brick-and-mortar grooming shops where dogs are kept waiting in crates for 4 to 6 hours between wash and cut cycles, Pawsitively KC delivers uninterrupted, one-on-one care from start to finish. As soon as your dog’s spa treatment is complete, they are walked straight back into your home.

What pet vaccination and health requirements are necessary before booking?

To protect every canine client and ensure top biosecurity standards, all dogs must have current Rabies vaccinations. We also strongly recommend DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza) and Bordetella. You can securely upload digital copies or vet verification forms through our online intake system prior to your scheduled driveway arrival.

Do I have to be home for the entire grooming appointment?

For your first appointment, we require pet parents to be present to meet Kasey, review styling preferences, and discuss health history or sensitive areas.

For established, recurring clients, we provide an exclusive Latchkey Concierge Service. With pre-authorized access (such as garage keypad codes or secure backyard gates), Kasey can safely retrieve your dog, complete their luxury doorstep groom, and return them comfortably inside while you work at the office or run errands

What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy for mobile routes?

Because our daily travel routes are carefully clustered across Johnson County neighborhoods to maximize efficiency, we require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or schedule adjustments. This policy allows us to offer the reserved driveway route time to pet parents on our waiting list.
